Changing Layout
We have formatted the tables so that this page will look good
and resize in Netscape and Internet Explorer. If you wish to change
the layout, please follow these instructions.
About this page layout
This page has been very carefully formatted with different nesting
tables so that it resizes both vertically and horizontally. Do
not drag on any table lines - you may "freeze" the page so that
it no longer resizes properly.
Adding other columns to the page
We suggest that you do not directly add columns to this layout,
as you may accidentally "freeze" the page so that it no longer resizes.
Instead, delete the page template content, then go to Table/Insert/Table
to add your own table in the center area. You may click within a
table and go to Table > Select > Table to get a better idea of the
table structure of this page.
Cascading Style Sheet
You can change colors and fonts by editing the Cascading Style
Sheet. This will not change colors of images (such as the logo image),
but you can control the table cell colors, font colors, and fonts.
To learn more about cascading style sheets, try going to www.w3schools.com/css.
To find color codes, go to http://www.johngaltstools.com/more/ and
click on the "gifart" color tool link.
Using FrontPage 2000, or publishing to a server with FP2000
only extensions?
This template can still be used for FP2000 with a few modifications.
FP2000 does not allow text link bars with vertical lines separating
links. You can get around this by using the "include" pages for
the horizontal menu bars and either 1) building your own hyperlinks
or 2) using the default horizontal link style (with brackets around
the links).
